TopAir Pro Adapter System

The TopAir Pro Adapter System is a stronger, more serviceable solution for connecting a STILO Top Air helmet assembly to either a Maglock/FluidLogic helmet air system or a standard 1-1/4″ push-on helmet air hose.

Factory and aftermarket Top Air connections are often epoxied to the polycarbonate duct. That works, until it doesn’t. In off-road racing, helmet air connections get pulled, bumped, loaded by hoses, and cycled over and over again. The TopAir Pro system is designed to replace that fragile connection point with a more robust mechanical adapter.

The system uses a two-piece design: a threaded mounting insert and a top adapter which are bolted together and sandwich the STILO Top Air duct. Once installed, the adapter can be removed and replaced with just an Allen wrench, allowing the helmet air connection to be serviced or swapped without removing the entire duct.

The adapter body is made from carbon-fiber reinforced nylon and secured with 6-32 black oxide coated stainless hardware. The exit angle has been refined through real-world race use and tested over thousands of off-road miles.

Four versions are available:

Maglock Adapter – Standard Kit
A clean, compact adapter for connecting the STILO Top Air duct to a Maglock/FluidLogic helmet-side air connector.

Maglock Adapter – Comms Mount Kit
Includes an integrated comms cable mount designed for the PCI/STILO 12″ adapter cable, plus four stick-on cable retaining clips for routing the cable up the side of the helmet. This keeps the comms connection near the Maglock air connection, making helmet hookup quicker and helping prevent the comms cable from bouncing against the side of the helmet.

1-1/4″ Barbed Adapter – Standard Kit
Features a 1-1/4″ barbed outlet for use with standard push-on helmet air hoses, including Parker Pumper-style hose connections.

1-1/4″ Barbed Adapter – Comms Mount Kit
Features the same 1-1/4″ barbed outlet with an integrated comms cable mount designed for the PCI/STILO 12″ adapter cable. Includes four stick-on cable retaining clips for routing the cable up the side of the helmet.

The comms mount is built directly into the adapter body and cannot be added to the standard versions later.

Compatibility:
Designed for STILO helmets using the Top Air assembly, including ST5, ST6, and WRX helmets in large and small shell versions.

Maglock versions directly fit Maglock/FluidLogic helmet air systems. Barbed versions fit standard 1-1/4″ push-on helmet air hoses, including Parker Pumper-style connections.

Installation Note:
Installation requires removing the polycarbonate Top Air duct from the helmet, drilling the duct, installing the internal threaded insert, and reinstalling the duct with the included VHB tape. This is a straightforward install for experienced racers, race teams, and helmet prep shops, but it does require modifying the Top Air duct.
